Jr. Nations Livestock Show

After our double barrel fail to kick off the Summer in South Padre, the next big stop on the summer of fun was Belton Texas, home to one really nice livestock arena. The stadium seating and air conditioning are perfect for the spectators. The holding pens that led into the area were also super nice. It was so cold the steer and heifers were a little jumpy going from the Texas heat into a cold arena.

A Show Cattle from Jerry’s Farm

On year three of our adventure in the world of youth livestock shows, we have gone all in with a competitive heifer from cousin Jerry. Well it wasn’t actually one of Jerry’s cattle, but he knows a guy, and our little lady can turn some heads at the first show. We have what they call in the business a competitive animal. We are now the proud owners of a breeding charlotte from an award winning bloodline. A major step of from the first show budget lamb Andrew.
