One of the most well-know music festivals nation-wide. ACL is held over two weekend is October in Zilker Park. The ultimate experience for music lovers, ACL offers bands playing from morning until evening, with after-shows city-wide into the late hours of the night. Many of the acts, but not all, play both weekends. Over the past few years after the festival expanded to two weekend, less of the big time acts are playing both weekends. The park is a big place and there is plenty of room for everybody, unlike some of the other massive music fest. Tickets and weekend wrist bands always sell out. There are deals if you are an Austin local and buy your tickets early.
