One of our favorite new fun things in Austin is the explosion of the standup Comedy scene that has grown over the past few years. Last year was our first time to catch a few shows of the two week comedy fest that is held at multiple venues. You can buy a badge and hit a plethora of shows or buy single act tickets at very reasonable prices. One other cool part about Austin’s Moontower Comedy Festival is many of the show have late start times so you can some much needed entertainment after 10:00.

The 2025 Moontower Comedy Festival is set to take place from April 9 to April 19 in Austin, Texas. Renowned as one of North America’s largest comedy festivals, it offers a diverse lineup of over 100 comedians performing across various venues in downtown Austin, including the historic Paramount Theatre, Stateside at the Paramount, and Bass Concert Hall.
Festival Highlights:
- Headliner Performances: The festival features a stellar lineup of headliners such as Aziz Ansari, Joey Diaz, Tiffany Haddish, John Waters, Pete Holmes, and Hank Azaria.
- Club Series (April 16-19): A four-day club binge where over 100 comedians perform at more than 10 walkable comedy clubs. Badge holders have access to all club shows during this period.
- Special Events: In addition to stand-up performances, the festival includes live podcast tapings, sketch comedy, musical acts, and nightly parties exclusive to badge holders.
