Blues on the Green

Blues on the Green is one of Austin’s largest FREE Music concert series. Traditionally it was held once a month May through August in Zilker Park. But COVID and other considerations seem to have taken a toll and this once multi month event. As near as I can tell, there is only 2 days of free music this year

Blues on the Green, returns for its 34th year on Tuesday, August 5 and Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the Great Lawn of Zilker Park (2100 Barton Springs Road) The family- and pet-friendly event is hosted by Waterloo Media and has truly evolved from a blues-centric origin to a diverse showcase of Austin-based talent, spanning genres from blues to country, rock, soul, Latin, and singer-songwriters
