It’s now easy to find fun things to-do in January. Truly one of the few slow times of the year in Austin. The mad rush of the holidays and UT being out of school doesn’t help the situation. A few years back the music clubs downtown came up with the great idea of Free Week. Most of the clubs open up their doors for music without a cover. It has been a popular event for the locals for many years now and is the major annual event for the first month of the year . January is a great month to go out and see some of the areas attractions and attend standing events like Gospel Brunch at Stubbs and racing go carts at the Formula 1 track.
