The Paramount is an old school theater on Congress just of 6th street that features a great lineup of music acts, comedy, and classic moves. They even still play non digital films of the classic photo reals. It’s one of the great venues in all of Texas. This is a great way to beat the summer heat and head to downtown Austin for a little fun out of the sun. They don’t play many new releases, but that’s not really the point of this ATX landmark.
