Each year in March Austin is overtaken by the famous SXSW Festival, which features music, film and conferences. Throughout the now almost 2 week event you can pick and choose the events you would like to attend. Catch after shows and more informal parties at most venues downtown. It’s one of the biggest events in the county now. In the past it has always been during UT”s and AISD’s spring break, but in 2019 tha changed, giving us more of a chance to attend our local event.
